For state officials, this user guide also demonstrates how data ports from the online template to the Excel template and how to customize the online template for jurisdictions to use.

    This crosswalk documents the changes that have been made to the EAVS questions between 2020 and 2022. For each section of the survey, this crosswalk details the EAVS question, question description, the column of the Excel template the question appeared in for 2020, the column of the Excel template the question appeared in for 2022, and any changes to the question numbering, Excel template column, and question wording. States and jurisdictions that use database queries to compile their EAVS data may use this file to help prepare their 2022 data submissions.
